Canada has produced some of the world's most original, innovative cinema - but how many Canadian films can you name?

Our mission is to open up the world of Canadian cinema to Australia's film lovers, so we're counting down our list of the Top 100 Canadian Films of the past 30 years in the lead-up to Canada Day on 1 July.

We're posting one film every day - we hope that after reading through our list you'll be as excited as we are to discover the next wave of Canadian cinema at the 7th Canadian Film Festival in Australia, 13 - 19 August 2012.
